The document is a view of the data, not a copy of it

Copy and paste is where errors enter, and they enter at the worst moment, on the thing you send a customer. When the document reads directly from the record, the rate on the quote is the rate in the system, permanently.

It has to look like you

A generated document that looks generated defeats the point. These are built to your own layout and typography, so what lands in a customer's inbox is better than what was being produced by hand, not merely faster.
