Praxa  /  Assessment

Where are your hours going?

An hour of your time, and a written answer. It costs nothing and it does not put you under any obligation.

What it is

A look at the work nobody has time to look at.

Every operating business accumulates admin that nobody chose. A spreadsheet that started as a stopgap, a form that gets retyped into a second system, a report somebody rebuilds every month. Individually none of it is worth fixing. Together it is often a person's whole week.

The assessment finds it and puts a number on it. That is all it does. What you do about it afterwards is entirely your business, and plenty of what we find is not worth building anything for.

How it works

Three steps, and one of them is yours.

  1. A conversation, about an hour

In person or on a call. You walk us through how the work actually moves through the business, including the parts that embarrass you. Those are usually the useful ones.

  2. We go away and work

A few days, none of it yours. We map what you described, cost the manual steps at your own rates, and check whether the obvious fix is actually a fix.

  3. You get it in writing

A short document, not a deck. The two or three places your hours are going, what each is costing you a year, and what could be done about each one, including where the answer is to leave it alone.

No obligation

You can take the document and do it yourself.

It is written to be useful on its own. If you hand it to your own team, or to another firm, it still works, and that is deliberate: an assessment that only makes sense if we do the building is a sales document wearing a disguise.

Ask for one

Tell us roughly what the situation is.

Four fields, and two of them are optional. We reply to every one of these ourselves.

Nothing you typed has been lost. Press send again, or email it to build@praxa.co.za.

Your details go to Gary and Jordon at Praxa and nowhere else. We use them to reply to you. How we handle it.
